"Thanksgiving" Breakfast Sandwich1 organic egg
1 slice Ultra Thin Sliced Colby Jack Cheese
1 Chicken Apple Sausage Patty
1 serving Pumpkin Spice English Muffin
I call this the "Thanksgiving" Breakfast Sandwich because to me the pumpkin spice muffin and chicken apple sausage tastes like Thanksgiving. If you want less calories the cheese isn't really necessary but helps to kind of bind the sandwich together. I like this because it is a quick relatively healthy yummy fall breakfast.
Cook the sausage according to package directions. ( I do about 35 seconds per patty)
Spray a ramekin with cooking spray and crack in the egg. Add Spices if you wish. I added pink Himalayan salt and pepper.
Wrap the ramekins in plastic wrap and cook in microwave about 40 seconds each depending on how runny you like your yolks.
Assemble your sandwich. I like to put the egg on the bottom and the cheese on top of it since the egg is hottest it will melt the cheese. Then I place the sausage and muffin on top.
